The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG), in collaboration with the Ghana Hajj Agents Association (GHAA), has announced the official slaughtering fee for prospective pilgrims for the Hajj 2026 pilgrimage.
According to a press release, the fee has been fixed at GH¢2,360, equivalent to $200 per pilgrim, following new mandatory visa requirements introduced by Saudi authorities. The payment forms part of the documentation required for processing the Hajj visa for pilgrims travelling to Mecca. Prospective pilgrims have been directed to make payments to the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana account at Stanbic Bank. Authorities urged pilgrims to comply with the directive to ensure smooth preparation for the pilgrimage.
