Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has teamed up with American singer and songwriter John Legend for a new single titled “Ain’t Nobody,” marking another major international collaboration for the Ghanaian musician. The song is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026, bringing together two globally recognized voices from different musical backgrounds.

According to reports by MyJoyOnline, the collaboration reflects Shatta Wale’s continued efforts to expand his presence on the international music scene while promoting Ghanaian music to a wider global audience. The project combines elements of Afro-dancehall with contemporary global music influences, creating a cross-cultural sound expected to appeal to diverse audiences.

Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is widely known for his impact on Ghana’s dancehall and Afrobeats scene and has previously collaborated with several international artists, including a notable appearance on Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift album.

Industry observers say the partnership with John Legend could further strengthen global interest in Ghanaian music and open more opportunities for African artists on international platforms. Collaborations between African and Western musicians have increasingly become a key strategy for expanding audiences and promoting cultural exchange within the global music industry.

Music enthusiasts are already anticipating the release of “Ain’t Nobody,” which is expected to generate significant attention across streaming platforms and international media when it officially drops later in March.
